A member of the Chinese student movement, Mei Jan arrived in the U.S. under the name of
Sue Ling, MacGyver's Chinese "foster daughter”. She later revealed that the real
Sue Ling had been killed at the Tiananmen Square uprising in 1989. MacGyver helped her to complete her mission in the U.S. of handing over
a video tape of the Tiananmen Square incident to be broadcast live on a national news show
so the world could see what really happened. |
